Amit Shemesh
I am a therapist with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Master of Public Administration (MPA), dedicated to supporting individuals and families through significant life transitions. My practice serves emerging adolescents, young adults, and parents, with a focus on life changes, navigating family-building challenges, including infertility and postpartum experiences. My personal experience as an immigrant and with family building further informs my practice.
Using an eclectic approach, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to meet each person’s unique needs. My therapeutic style is collaborative and adaptive, fostering a space where clients feel heard and supported as they work through personal challenges.
My Georgia-based practice offers both in-person and virtual sessions, allowing you to access support from anywhere. If you’re looking for a therapist who understands your journey and can provide the support you need, I invite you to reach out. We can navigate life transitions together.
